ABOUT:

ISLANDS is a concept album. We have worked on a concept which marks the story of a main character from birth to the end of his life. Working music in those terms can be harder, but at the same time more rewarding as you figure out mayor turning points in the character's life. We've been influenced by so much instrumental and soundtrack music that it only makes sense for us to merge Shoegaze into that to create ISLANDS.

Kids Are Astronauts is only the first chapter of the story.

ISLANDS es un álbum conceptual. Hemos creado en un concepto que marca la historia de un personaje principal desde el nacimiento hasta el final de su vida. Trabajar música en esos términos puede ser más difícil, pero al mismo tiempo más gratificante al determinar puntos importantes en la vida del personaje. Hemos sido influenciados por tanta música instrumental y bandas sonoras que sólo hace sentido para nosotros mezclar el Shoegaze con esos conceptos para crear ISLANDS.

Kids Are Astronauts es solo el primer capitulo de la historia.
